University of Zakho Organizes a Specialized Training Workshop to Enhance Professional Competence of Administrative Staff

In alignment with its strategic commitment to continuous professional development and institutional advancement, the University of Zakho organized a specialized training workshop designed to enhance the professional competence and expertise of its administrative staff.

The workshop officially commenced on Monday, January 13, 2025, under the supervision of the university’s professional development committee.

Strategic Objectives and Core Components

This two-day workshop was structured to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively respond to emerging challenges in the modern professional environment. The training program addressed several key thematic areas, including:

 

• Digital Literacy: Strengthening participants’ capacity to effectively utilize and integrate digital technologies in daily administrative tasks.
• Interpersonal Communication: Promoting effective communication, professionalism, and constructive engagement with visitors and colleagues within the university setting.
• Professional Ethics: Emphasizing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability across all administrative duties.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Enhancing teamwork, coordination, and collective efficiency within and across departments.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Nizar Mohammed Ali, a distinguished academic from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Zakho. Drawing on both academic knowledge and practical experience, Dr. Ali delivered an engaging and comprehensive training program tailored to the needs of the participants.

 

Upon successful completion of the two-day training, participants received official certificates of participation, acknowledging their active involvement and commitment to professional excellence.
